Alerts that do not need your tab open
A browser alert stops the moment the tab sleeps, which is usually the moment you stopped watching — and the whole reason you set it. These are evaluated on the server roughly every twenty seconds, so the alert fires on its own schedule rather than on your laptop being awake.

Watched server-side, every twenty seconds
The condition lives on the server and is checked against the same price feed the terminal draws from. Your machine can be asleep, closed or somewhere else entirely. When it fires you find it waiting in the bell and on the alerts page, with the price it fired at recorded.
Included on every plan, including free
Creating price alerts is part of every plan, the free one included. This is worth stating plainly because the pricing table mentions "signal alerts with entry, stop and target" — that is a different, richer thing on Pro and above. A plain price alert costs nothing on any plan.
- SetAn instrument, a direction and a price.
- WatchThe server checks it about every twenty seconds against the live feed.
- FireIt lands in the bell with the price it triggered at, once.
One alert, one firing
An alert fires once and then stops, rather than repeating every time the price wobbles back across the line. A level that has been crossed has delivered its information; the second notification only teaches you to ignore the first.
Where alerts end and signals begin
A price alert says a number was reached. It carries no bias, no stop and no target, and that restraint is deliberate. When you want the level to arrive with a read attached — entry, invalidation, target — that is the signal engine, and it is a different feature with a different price.
Price alerts questions, answered
Do price alerts work when my browser is closed?
Yes. They are evaluated on the server roughly every twenty seconds, independent of whether any tab is open. You will find a fired alert waiting in the bell.
Are price alerts included on the free plan?
Yes. Creating price alerts is part of every plan including free. "Signal alerts with entry, stop and target" are a separate, richer feature on Pro and above.
Does an alert fire more than once?
No. It fires once and stops, so a price oscillating around your level does not produce a stream of notifications.
How is an alert different from a trading signal?
An alert reports that a price was reached and nothing more. A signal carries a bias, an entry, a stop and a target, computed from market structure.
Which instruments can I set alerts on?
The instruments the workspace streams: Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, Sensex, Gold (XAU/USD) and the crypto pairs.
